Gili Meno

Your Robinson Crusoe Island Retreat

With beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters, GILI MENO is an authentic Indonesian gem that serves as a gentle reminder of a simpler way of life. The smallest and quietest of the three Gilis [the small islands situated off the north-west tip of Lombok], Meno is your haven of tranquillity – an entirely different experience from what you may find just next door on Gili Trawangan and Gili Air. Just 5km in circumference, Meno serves as home to around 650 Islanders and 50 Western residents. Free from the noise of motorised transport and daily hustle, you can truly unwind on Meno, hearing the sounds of the waves and wildlife, as you take in your tropical surroundings

In recent years, Meno has experienced growth from the overflowing Trawangan and has witnessed an increasing number of resorts and restaurants springing up. This development has added a nice array of modern conveniences, however, the islanders are keen to maintain the peaceful atmosphere. These newer amenities have done little to detract from Gili Meno’s signature slow pace.

Spend your spare time relaxing on the beach, restoring body and soul at the yoga centre, spotting rare birds around the salt lake or taking a sunset horseback ride around the island. Get the real tropical experience in a breathtaking, serene and local atmosphere. If you want to go off the beaten track without actually having to – Gili Meno awaits.
